I cannot tell you about the first photograph I ever took nor can I describe the origin of my interest in photography. When I was 15 I got my hands on a Pentax K1000 with a 50mm lens: I'd like to think that was the beginning of this journey spanning across decades; a journey of learning and unlearning the art of photography.
A good artist will find inspiration in ordinary things, a better artist will go beyond the attractiveness of mundane elements of life. My goal as a photographer is to seek that “beyond” to record in images that tell stories.
